Correct. Touch control and more modern design. I got a good offer since they stopped production on the old version so given uncertainties how it sounds etc I thought it would be a rather safe bet. And I think the old school design is bit cool

Being a jerk is one thing, but to use foul and insulting language in a personal attack is entirely another. Unacceptable behaviour in a cordial, informative and friendly forum like this, and a clear contravention of forum rules.
If someone has wound you up that much, don’t post, or at least count to ten and read your draft post twice before sending.
You know it makes sense!

It hasn’t happened here, but when someone attacks me personally I report them to the moderators and then block their profile so I no longer see their posts. I also do that with people who badger, mock, snark, or troll me, or resort to ad hominem attacks. It doesn’t really happen much here but I have a pretty long list of blocked profiles elsewhere.

New to my system: a Naim Full Fraim in black (4 levels). The Fraim Lite I’ve been using up to now has been reduced. It will remain in use for additional components (Silent Angel Switch + Audiolab CDT 6000). I’ve also finally got round to mounting the two GIK Acoustics panels behind the speakers on the wall. All in all, a nice upgrade.

Just bought & installed a Vitus ri-101 mk1 amp. Very very happy with it. first impressions: very favourable and all that from just a bluesound node2i connected to the Vitus internal dac. Quite surprised by the performance and ourperforms the 252/300/hugo combo easily.
More weight, calm, spaciousness and authority. The attack on some songs is just incredible.
