You make the point, Naim would have to want to seek and purchase additional stock whereas their reported view is there’s no point as the CD mechs ‘go off’ in storage……..

Well very interestingly, safety considerations have come to the fore! I tried the matrix 2 which was fine and probably did sound better, but I had my first “trip” this evening. I was turning the Hicap DR off to change the power line and my circuit tripped at the main “fuse” box. Reset and turned it on again and immediately tripped. Removed the matrix 2 and all good! @Skeptikal you may have a point!

I have found that Naim PowerLine is great for Naim gear, and kinda sucks for everything else. I have them on my 300DR PS and SCDR, but I sold two others and use Siltech power cables on my sources (Boulder phono-stage and Weiss DAC).

In my case it works very good on both Innuos PN and zenith.

Once I sell my 252/300 I might keep one PowerLine for the Atom in my home office, but the other will go. I expect to get more SIltech power (and balanced) cables for the new gear, and then I will have a full Siltech loom, except for the speaker cables which will be TBD.

We found that Powerlines were excellent on our Moon CD Transport, Moon amp, and Melco music server when we had it. When we sold the Melco it meant we had a spare Powerline so I put it on our Sony 4K TV. I thought it improved the sound. Now having bought Naim kit again that came with Powerline Lites, I put these on the Blu ray player and on the TV in place of the Powerline. I actually prefer the sound of the Lite over the Powerline on the TV. So we’re selling the spare Powerline now.
I bought a second Flatcap XS for my XS system.
This one goes on the CD5XS alone, allowing my original FCXS to power upgrades 1 and 2 of my NAC152XS.
Very pleased.

Yes, my understanding is that upgrade 1 on the NAC152XS is the equivalent of a NAPSC. I tell myself I’m now running the poor man’s CDX2, NAC282 and NAP200!

Not quite hifi , but it makes my hifi area more interesting. The long awaited limited edition marcross ( Robotech) VF-1S Roy Focker skull leader . It’s big . Measures approx 30 cm . 
I love to collect Macross. But abit late to collect them , so , many edition models are long gone in the market .

I bought all these at roughly the same time replacing my serviced Nait 2. I had a naim Dac for a little while but moved it on for the Denafrips Enyo 15th DAC.. It is a similar R2R type that has some similarities with the Naim to my ear. The Addition of the NAPSC has been a small revelation. The music is slightly more dynamic but natural.Slightly more filled out. The innuos Zenith MK 3 has been an eye opener. Hi Cap 2 Next maybe when funds allow.

I finally found a supercap DR (from 2022) which I will try with my superline soon. My phonosophie TT will be aro‘ed asap. New cart = umami red to come. In September I will initiate vinyl again. 
I will check prefix / olive supercap against Superline / olive supercap against Superline / supercap DR. Last time I tried the superline I went back to prefix (this was with full olive/sbl). will see how it is this time. After that I will sell at least one supercap.
