I am a big fan of Marantz gear, owning the SA10 and SA12SE. Fantastic gear. Heavy, well built and superb finish.
The SA10 is my second favourite source at the moment. LP12 Klimax being number 1.
Number 3 is ND555! But I am sure this is because SA10 is new to me.

Steve Huff is American. He lives in the Midwest, if I remember correctly, and has definitely an American accent.
After I bought my Weiss DAC501-MkII I found Steve Huff’s review of it. He was so hyped up about it he claimed to make it his goto DAC.
I have to say I continue to be so very impressed by it. I never listened to digital as often as I do now with that in my system. It sounds very analog and natural too. My NDX2/XPSDR was about the same price level at retail cost, but the Weiss is on a much higher level. There’s really no contest.
Steve is horrible. Such a sell out. Unfortunately for most reviewers it’s just business and they need money in the bank. There are few I trust on this matter. Money talks.

Bought a used Fender Deluxe Reverb 68. Cost less then 1m Shunyata ethernet cable. Very reasonable….. Much more fun than cables!
Yeah expensive cables are so overrated.
