Not sure to understand. My EE8 works best with its included ps. The Lumin mini U2 with the additional Ifi power elite.
Got a Chord epic recently, works better than the Audioquest Diamond on the Lumin. But I keep my two other Diamonds ( from router to switch and on the Melco).

AQ cinnamon is very good. I think naim uses it. I have a catsnake and in my ears the AQ is clearly better. But there are better cables. You should someday try Shunyata

Cable lifters - how much are they. Should I ask? 
Back in the day ATT Glass was the hot setup. The ATT connector was really good. And the Glass Fibre was great. Much better than the other digital connections.

Not legal to put on the market in EU. No marking and I’m pretty sure that thingy burns till there is nothing left of the product and your house.

No kidding. You cannot put electric products together with glue and 3D printed materials in your garage and sell it to EU without fulfilling regulations. I would avoid that product by all means if you care about your safety. If your house burns down and you have used products not fulfilling EU regulation your insurance company very well might say no to cover the cost.

Why the cable lifters? The one piece of high end audio that I dont understand ..
Adding the 555 PS DR is easily the most significant upgrade to my system to date, and the increase in performance is immediately evident.

I’m struggling to get my head round the cost differential. In the uk an nDac is about £1k. A 555dr is about £4k. And even then one is only using half of the 555 (single burndy to nDac).
It is virtually impossible to audition one anymore so I would have to take a £4k punt that it made that much difference. It just seems odd to pay 4 times as much for the power supply as the actual device it is powering. I’m not saying I’m not tempted, just having difficulty with the man maths.

Hi, on his website he calls it a damping factor controller. The day I bought it Mike from absolute sound demonstrated how it works to me. He took me over to a power bar in his store and plugged in this little electronics piece that buzzed loudly when he plugged it in. Next he plugged in the gizmo to another open plug on the power bar.
The buzzing stopped immediately. Then he removed both pieces and inserted the prongs from a voltage meter into two slots on the power bar. It read around 120 on the meter. Next he inserted the gizmo into the power bar again while holding the voltage meter in place. The number cut in half on the meter .
Gilbert’s products are real, audible and measurable difference.
MarkL3w, The way I view it, the 555 DR PS is the pinnacle of Naim power supplies for digital devices. I was fortunate enough to find a unit at a dealer that offers a very generous 30-day return policy on all sales, so for me, finding one that had been refreshed in 2020 made the decision that much easier.
