She toured, sang and played on Peter Gabriel’s I/O tour last year.
Was very impressive on that tour.

I picked up that set about a year ago. There’s some good stuff there!

Not aware of that. The references I had from the R3 session and a couple of articles list her as a classical artist. I think I might be kicked out if I took this CD to the U3a classical listdning group!

I’ve got a “Best Of” CD of theirs, but thought I’d have a quick look to see what was around and Bob’s your uncle…

I have them all in vinyl.

When these albums were released, I was a lot younger, and energetic, with different tastes to now. Still like ELP, though :slightly_smiling_face:

get it yesterday

Some may baulk at these renditions, but for occasional listening I love them. A historical achievement and unavailable on streaming services.

They are great fun and missing from CD for quite a period in the past. I still have an “SQ” Quadraphonic vinyl copy of the first album, it was a CBS demonstration copy, sent to me as a replacement for a shop bought copy when Quad was all the rage. Sadly most of the SQ pressings I had were very noisy hence the replacement.

This lovely CD by Quercus - June Tabor’s singing mingling well with Ian Ballamy’s saxophone and Hugh Warren’s piano - has some very high stereo imaging via my SBL’s especially the track ‘Near but far away’ where the saxophone rises to nearly 3 feet above the speakers.
