Glad to help it’s what this forum does best. Hope you are enjoying both brilliant classic RH albums.

I am currently listening to Lady’s Bridge :musical_score::musical_score::musical_score:

I ordered them today, should receive them later in the week. I love RH too, and have these on CD, and almost all of his back catalogue on either CD or vinyl. Thanks again

@ DazzedDegsy…

I don’t want to spend any more of your money  but if you have not got Richards three album set Live at Halifax Piece Hall on vinyl I can highly recommend it. It’s about £50 and widely available.

I wouldn’t use any felt. You can buy the right items from retailers in the U.K. or from eBay. I’ve done both and couldn’t tell the difference. Apart from price!

You’re not going to tempt me! Love RH, seen him several times with the last at End of the Road Festival in September. He was superb and only have him on CD but would love some vinyl

I’m receiving weekly vinyl records, it’s got a bit crazy so stopping. Will save the site for another day but thanks.

I’ve been resisting that too…….until now. You’re a bad man

I do understand that this vinyl “addiction” can become expensive however, as you are aware Richard’s albums do have a habit of disappearing very quickly from the usual record store outlets and become very expensive on Discogs and the like.

Only saying :joy:

Finally re-issued on vinyl (for those of us that never bought the original vinyl in time and don’t want to pay crazy prices for used versions). Flat and noise free vinyl with good SQ but the remaster is quite bass heavy.

If you’re ever in Sheffield, have a wander through Endcliffe Park, he’s often walking through. Very approachable chap.

The Degritter is a great piece of kit. I used a Moth for 20 years and was happy with it. Then it failed and the owner of British Audio Products had passed away so I couldn’t get a like for like replacement. Bought the Okki Nokki and didn’t feel it performed anywhere near as well as the Moth. My dealer kindly took it back and I switched to the Degritter. It’s in a different league, I have no regrets at all. It’s now done 2,500+ cleans so about £1 a go.

That was not the right answer!

I tried for several years to get my Okki Nokki (same as yours I think) to thoroughly clean my LPs but the wet/pad/wetting to clean cycling wasn’t doing it. Have now changed to an Audiodesk Pro X model (ultrasonic) and the results are far better, and it also has a drying cycle (via internal fan). Not cheap, but cleaning is now far easier, and far better IME.

It was the right answer, just not the answer you wanted …

Just for some more input, i owned an Okki Nokki for about 5 years and found it sort of worked okay up to a point, one good point is it’s a lot quieter and less messy than a Moth, but not perfection standard although removes static and give a reasonably clean.

I replaced my Okki with a pre-used Keith Monks Omni that i was lucky to find going (less than half new price) at an audio dealer. This gives a far superior clean, and what i’m finding now is my vinyl perviously cleaned on the Okki has static and dust back with vengeance and in need of a re-clean, however the vinyl initially cleaned on the Keith Monk’s a decade ago in 2014 is still fine :slightly_smiling_face: :+1:

I bought this recently. It is a 40th Aniv edition by Vinyl Me Please but they must be selling surplus as I do not subscribe and bought it new from a UK online store. I have an original bought new when released but I was curious to see what affect modern treatment would have on such a backroom-lowtech recording would be. Its OK but I think I prefer the original this version is even more raw.

That’s a shame @Robinho as VMP are generally good, but nice of you to tell it like it is :+1:

Most people tend to wax lyrical about their purchases, and never admit they bought an inferior one.
I know I have, unless it’s never before released I won’t buy a new Bowie pressing! :joy::wink::wink:
