You should - all the previous ones are locked; and it may be better than trawling through the SHF looking for info. I’ve recently started trying to track down / identify certain pressings that sound good so it would be good to have a place here to aggregate info, share knowledge and ask questions.

Just my .02

The Five Techniques Feat. Róisin El Cherif & Paul Weller - Resistance In the Dark, Heavenly Recordings (2026)

The Five Techniques, a music project created by Belfast DJ & producer, David Holmes, are a collective of artists who believe music, art & humanity can be acts of resistance.

The trio first connected at Gig For Gaza - curated by Weller himself - and have come together again for a vital cause.

All of their proceeds will be donated to Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP).

‘The House of Love’ by The House of Love: 30th Anniversary Reissue LP on clear vinyl includes additional Singles Disc.

Just arrived this morning and it’s already on the turntable and sounding infinitely better than my original, also pictured. While I’ll admit it’s a nostalgic purchase, this is still one of my top 10 albums.

Tracks like Christine and Love in a Car blazed a trail for Shoegaze while The House of Love regularly featured in John Peel’s Festive Fifty listings during the late 80s and early 90s. Together with The Sundays, they were one of the indie guitar bands that kept me sane after the demise of The Smiths.

Cherry Red Records have done a terrific job with the gatefold artwork and sleeve notes and the sound quality improves on the original pressing. I still don’t know how this band weren’t huge.

The ‘Singles’, disc includes the brilliant Shine On and Destroy the Heart amongst other indie guitar bangers. Two great albums for the price of one.

New discovery for me - supermodel*

He only has a few tracks so far, which are collected together into this EP. Somewhere in-between LCD Soundsystem and Nation of Language. Great stuff, especially the ‘i used to live in England’ track.

Arrived today – in the stereo version. I have been planning for a long time not to buy any more vinyl records, but I keep giving in. Maybe one day I will manage it.

How does it sound!!

To tell you the truth Bob I’ve been flat out at work and was planning to give it a wash tonight and play it thru my Ear-speakers, as it’s been staring at me most of the week to give it a spin. But I’ve just got in and it’s five and twenty to twelve and I’m cream cracked. Will definitely give it a spin tomorrow night & report back.
