If I take hdd wd red, which ssd can I take for roon?

Hi Andrea,

As I mentioned to you in the other thread, I have Roon core running successfully on the Synology 918+; the package by Crieke is easy to install. I installed on a WD Red and it’s ok, but you can add an SSD (I’ve had good success with Samsung EVO products). I have upgraded RAM to 8 GB and installed a small cache, but you don’t need that to get started and can decide afterwards if you want to trick things out. I have no experience with the QNAP.

Regards alan

i have a qnap 2 disk NAS, but use a sandisk usb 3.0 micro stick as the core drive and works well.
