Quick question… Can I use a 555PS with a CDS3?
Yes Mike. We found it to be a tremendous upgrade to the CDS3, bringing out the dynamics and fire that was missing from this otherwise slightly too polite CD player. YMMV.

I preferred it with the XPS2, although admittedly this is only from a few brief comparisons at the dealer.
I had a 555PS non DR on my CDS2 and it was the c**k of the walk. Biggest Naim upgrade ever for me. Don’t hesitate.
555PS was a major upgrade on my CDS3, greater control and presence. Well worth the price.
