Hello, why are the song titles displayed on my uniti star display incomplete, whether in Chinese or English? Is there any solution, thans a lot.
Hello futurecreator,
Is this with streamed music or locally stored music such as on a USB drive or NAS drive?
Is it the same on iRadio too?
It’s useful to know when this happens and is it with every source or just streaming.
I guess it might be to do with the tagging and or “special characters” if Chinese.
A little more information would be useful.
First of all, thanks for your reply. No matter it’s streaming media, locally stored music, or even the iradio, they are all displayed incompletely. I have attached some photos. I’m not sure if it’s a problem with my device or the firmware. Please help me how to solve this problem.Thank you so much.
I am not familiar with that particular song but a Google search shows “La Cigale
Song by Stuart McCallum”, so the instance you have shown above, seems to be the complete name.
I am not sure what my own display shows as I rarely if ever look at it.
My own Atom is in another house so I can’t check it.
I believe there is an option to display different views, such as album cover, or artist name and track title.
You can toggle between album view and track view with the remote control. It’s the on the bottom panel, top right key. (The icon is a musical note and 3 lines like a menu icon)
I have restored it to factory settings and now it displays normally. Besides, I’d like to know if it’s possible to keep displaying the artist and track name interface for a long time?
I’m pleased to hear you’ve fixed it with the reset but I don’t know if it is possible to keep displaying - I always have my display set to turn off.
It’s not.
Although the issue has been resolved, but i still feel that there is some lack of stability in this all-in-one device. Nevertheless, thanks for your help.
You’re welcome.
I have an Atom and an NDX2 and haven’t suffered any problems with stability - all of my units seem to work as they should.
I hope my making those comments doesn’t change anything for the reliability or stability !
Interesting. It baffles me why toggling through the modes with the remote isn’t possible. You’d think it would be easy to implement.
Would you please remind me how to get into the interface to change settings. It’s in the thread somewhere I know, but I just can’t find it. Thanks.
‘Streamer device IP address’/webclient/
I’m sure I’ll perhaps get spanked for this…!
Yes, I totally agree, don’t know why it’s not more easily accessible on the devices….All the client is doing is html pulling off the software UI, so the settings are ‘in there’ …

Thanks. I’ve used that before and am wondering if that’s how to turn off the USB input.
I got in through your method, but I couldn’t find the settings interface
No, you need to add the postscript text to the IP address as per my earlier post….they’re different interfaces….

thank you,i got it,but still can not keep displaying the artist and track name interface for a long time.
