Wilson Audio Loke set up with Naim amps

Looking for advice on best settings for Wilson Audio Loke sub that I’ve bought second hand , to go with my Wilson Duettes using a NSC 222 pre and NAP 250 classic power amp.
I know it will be largely room and postion dependant just wondering there are any tips?
It’s not in position yet plan to do so at the weekend but already sounding great.

Ha just me then! They are properly set up now and are amazing! Sound is solid and out of the speaker in the room stuff!

I don’t know the Wilson sub, but with MKs or Tannoy PA subs, I always used them as bass enhancement rather than a substitute for poor bass in the main speakers. The trick is to tune them to the room and your set up so that there is no bloom, or hangover, just additional weight and depth of sound. If you have frequency tuning remember that in most rooms accentuated 120hz is usually to be avoided so that there is no monotonic, detail-sapping boom.

Shame Wilson missed my endorsement for their product by 1 letter:roll_eyes:.

yep the same, you wouldn’t know they are on if you haven’t heard the Duettes with out them. What they do is add solidity depth and presence to the sound as well as some extra deep bass when needed. Turn it off and the sound flattens.
