Anyone used an XP5 XS to power a CDX? What, if anything, did it improve?

I cannot answer your specific questions. I tried one on my one-time CDX2. It did all the Naim things better for a fraction of the cost of an XPS2. Obviously it wasn’t quite as good as an XPS2.

Thanks Christopher. Coming back to serious listening after a few years and the forum is a real help to understanding the best (affordable) approach to upgrading my Olive system. Currently looking to replace the Flatcap that’s been powering my 82 with a HiCap and have a few items serviced at Class A, but also keeping an eye out for a good deal on a suitable PSU for my CDX.
