@MikeDG what electronics are you using to drive your SashaDAWs

I was using a Naim NAC552 with a NAP300 DR which I found really good.
Then I heard them through a Dan D’Agostino Progression Integrated Amplifier. Once I heard that I decided I want one.
Should arrive in 2-3 weeks. The Sasha’s like a reasonable amount of current and the Progression puts out 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms.
Still have my excellent ND555 streamer and Linn LP 12 Klimax turn table.

I’ve got the D’agostino Progression, and absolutely love it. How far have you got the Wilson’s from the walls? Have you got photographs? It seems there is real synergy between D’Agostino and Wilson speakers, which I’m interested in…

How much different are sabrina and sabrina x. Im running tunetots with ndx2 and sn3. Im quite satisfied given the smallish room

True! … (BTW … did you have no speakers at all from 1997 to 2006?)

Ah, missed that detail, sorry … and sorry to hear of hard times … but any speakers are better than none at all … in my student days I had to flog my Videoton GB3’s which I loved actually, and get my Philips cassette machine speakers (made of crappy plastic), out of the loft and pair them with my 12/110 … which naturally was going nowhere. My pal who had a full DMS system said my Philips rig was the worst Naim setup he’d ever heard! But I managed to get s/h Quads, then Saras then Isobariks before too long

Oops, forgot the Heybrook HB2’s before the Quads. Down the line there was a 20 year affair with DBL’s .

Back in the day made my first speakers with Kef units and a Connoisseur BD1 turntable.

Then:
Cambridge R40 speakers
Spendor BC1
Linn Sara
Gale 401
Linn Keltick
Zingali horn speaker - can’t remember which model
Naim DBL
Currently have Kef Reference 3 and thinking of upgrading to the Reference 3 Meta

Possible have left some speakers out though!

A short list compared to most:

Acoustic Research AR7x
Linn Kan II - longest tenure
ProAc Response 1SC
B&W 805D3 PE

All standmounts. Never had floorstanders.

Only four pairs in forty years! :scream:

Richard Allan Pavane (I think)
Linn Helix
Linn Keilidh
Neat Elite SX - going strong since 2010

Addionally I have a pair of Q Acoustics Q2010i’s in the study, and a Samsung Q990b looks after home cinema duties superbly!

Hi Andy
Will send photos later today.
There is a synergy with Wilson and D’ Agostino.
But Wilson is also great with Naim

Mike
