As its Friday can I take a liberty and have a second tune of the day on a more serious note.
Just heard this new take on St Germain’s Rose Rouge from new name to me Jorja Smith lifted from the current Blue Note Reimagined album.
Sounds to me a bit like St Germain channelled via Portishead with a video backdrop calling for unity in the continuing struggle for equal rights and justice. BLM

After a few sherberts late Saturday Night ended up on a bit of an Ian Dury tip, much to my queens amusement as I sang along verbatim and three quarters cut to every song (especially the rude ones!) on the albums New Boots And Panties and Do It Yourself.
This is one that got away, missing from my collection…

Wonderful to hear Mary Anne Hobbs play this out on 6Music just now.
Misty were a firm favourite of John Peel.
This tune is still so relevant to the current troubled times over a lovely bouncing one drop riddim.
Roots music of the highest order…
Cant say I never warned you…Indeed
