Dam, the other half keeps reminding me that I shouldn’t do 2 things at once. Apparently it’s a bloke thing. Thanks for pointing out my error. Missed the e in Abbey Rd as well.
Seems my list went missing so I’ll try again without the errors.
My top 20 (again, this time without the mistakes) probably starts like this, it isn’t in any order and likely to change.

Crisis What Crisis-Supertramp
Harvest-Neil Young
Wish You Were Here-Pink Floyd
Ziggy Stardust-Bowie

@bhoyo excellent picks especially Jonathan Wilson and Ryley Walker but as above not having Dark Side or Abbey Road in your Top 20 what are you some sort of radical.
Hey Andy, that’s how rumours get started!
I will make every effort to get back in line, Dave
Please make no effort whatsoever. And why aren’t you watching the game?
Tomorrow morning for me. Although, whisper it, I’ll be paying more attention to Manchester Utd v Liverpool than to Celtic.
1971 was THE year for great albums. What a chart - nice to see that I have 15 out of the top 20.
Interesting that Meddle is on the Starline label?
Is it possible that the Zeppelin album is number one through presales as it is just listed as “New” ?
I don’t think such a relaxed listing would happen in print today.
Could it be that the fourth Led Zeppelin album didn’t have a name. Although ‘we’ refer to it as Led Zep IV or the four symbols and I’ve heard it referred to as the Runes. I think it was officially untitled so I guess the chart listing makes sense in this respect.
The Jim Reeves is a classic. And who could forget, um, Frank Pourcel?
Wow Blackmass - that list is not a million miles from mine. Don’t know your number 18 so going to check the band and album out.
Big Black will knock your socks off.
Many years ago there was a Q magazine article on Robert Plant’s record collection and he had the Big Black album.

I started this reply the day the thread started. This should be an indication of the toughness of this task.
Interesting the G’nR isn’t more popular generally…
