Your Watch & Naim

Of course, they are not the only ones to do that. My main IWC has gone up in price by quite a bit since I bought it.

That’s lovely. Ulysse Nardin make some nice watches (and some horrors)

A former colleague had a solid gold perpetual calendar model. I dread to think how much it cost

Hello H.H. I remember a post from last year about a Watch Spring Bar Pliers tool kit you bought for your watches. I tried using search but I can’t find it. Can you do me the favor of remembering the brand? grateful.

This is my 1940’s Omega, Calibre 30SCT2 18 Jewel

Presently out for a service with a broken balance staff, but will back soon.

Strap is a custom fabric NATO in 18 width, as Omega didn’t make them at the time, so I tracked the OEM manufacturer and got one specially ordered.

But now have a 18 in Black leather NATO with the SM 120 from the late 60’s/early 70’s.

Both Beautifull, sir.

(Particulary the SM that reminds me the JLC memovox tribute to deep sea )
Congrats!

Thank you Rafael.
Thinking in buying one, instead of going always to the boutique asking for a change ( of straps/bracelets)

:joy:

The SM 120 is also with the Watch repairer, adding the Pip at the 12 marker in the Bezel. The Bezel is a aftermarket part, and missing it, as NOS were exhausted years ago - unless someone has one here?

Thinking of a brown leather NATO strap for summertime wear, just not sure whether the light or dark brown.

Have a Linen faced Cal 286 on a light brown strap also, which I previously posted a photo of.
Oh the decisions! :grinning:

If you need to remove the bracelet of a Rolex or a Tudor Black Bay, you need to be able to squeeze both ends of the spring bar at the same time. This needs the pliers.

If you want to change a strap, where you release one end and then the other, you don’t need the pliers, but use a spring bar tool instead.

Both are in this picture, though I note that my original picture of the pliers has already been reposted. I have included both here for completeness.

Thanks HH.
Yes, this is my case ( what I need).

Sorry if I infringed any copyright.

No problem whatsoever! I was just explaining why I posted again.

I’ve not seen this Citizen… very cool. Love the arrow hand and big crown!

Thanks, it’s the Royal Marines Commando, with a titanium case. The original light green khaki strap fell apart, so I replaced it with a nato.

Very nice. Stylish, understated, and I expect it’s comfortable.
