Had it from new 40 years ago. Never been serviced. All original parts. Nice patina now. Keeps great time (+1 sec/ day)

Form folgt Funktion, Braun AW20

I bought this one in the early 90s. Found it in a drawer last year and had to get it restored as it had completely stopped. Most parts, incl the face, had to be replaced, which unfortunately meant the new face doesn’t say “West Germany” anymore. As much as I loved German Reunification, it was tricky to let go. :grinning:

Collected today, i’ve been lucky to buy it at Mrsp

…built-in calendar … :sunglasses:

No Naim I’m afraid. However, this Oyster Perpetual 41 is Naim OC Green!

Plays beautifully in different lighting conditions. Like multiple watches in one.

JLC, lovely

Lovely, but i have the previous one without the double makings at 3 and 9, preferrer the simplicity.

Treated myself to a new strap from the excellent Strap Tailor.

Thanks. It’s a strange thing, lots of people seem to like JLC from a distance but far fewer people actually own them. It’s a lovely watch and gets worn more or less every day. Here is a better picture.

Very nice indeed, I do like JLC and find their ability to fly under the radar a major plus, they do make genuinely first class timepieces though

This Seiko ‘Daini’ from 1972 arrived today. In stunning condition and the blue is fantastic.

Thank you. I was not really looking just came across it by chance on eBay. And all for the princely sum of £88! Chuffed!
