Not yet. I need to get on it. It would definitely look better with the top hat crystal like the one on the 7644 and Mirexal.
The earlier version of the Camy Seven Seas diver is pretty cool too. The case is slightly smaller but still rated at 300M. I have one but fitted with a Starjet dial - I don’t know whether it was always like that or done later during a repair. The case was in excellent condition and at the time it was very cheap though so I couldn’t resist picking it up.
I had a Camy watch (automatic, 21 jewels or something) in about 1961. I have no idea what happened to it - I think it was damaged badly by one of my ‘fellow’ school pupils.
Yes - in fact, I have a feeling it had 24 jewels, but it was a long time ago and my memory is not perfect. It wasn’t like any of the watches you showed there - it was a dress watch, and it had a gold case. Not sure whether it was solid gold, but I suspect it was. It was bought for me by a very rich Chinese friend of my parents, in Singapore. They had bought me an anagram of that watch - a Cyma, which I still have and is running OK.
