I have a Grey Burndy leftover from when I had a CDS/CDPS combination. Apart from that, will the cable connect any other Naim equipment?

I understand that the 13-pin Burndy carries both signal and power?

No, it can’t be used for any other Naim kit.

There are variations of burndy depending on the application, and they are all different and not cross compatible.

Can’t it be modified by naim?

Even if Naim did do that (which I don’t think they do), it would probably be cheaper to buy a new one and sell the old one on eBay.

I can remember when I first bought my cds3 it came with a cdps recased in the new style case and a modified burndy for it to work…
