252 RCA to DIN adapter

Can someone confirm this is the correct cable I need to connect my existing RCA cables to the AV Input on a 252 please ?

I only ask as the labels for the pins are different for some of the DIN inputs.

Note: I do not want a custom cable as the AVR is on the opposite side of the room to my NAIM gear and my current RCAs are hidden already.

You need to check exactly which pins are connected in the din plug, as there are 3 out of 5 in use for input.

So looking at the pins of the plug, it’s the first 3 working clockwise that need to be wired.

Ah thanks - looks like it the bottom three I require.

I have asked the seller if they know the pin arrangement.

There are plenty of cable sellers who sell DIN cables wired for Naim gear, or who could make up such a cable if shown the pin connections as found on the diagrams next to the sockets.

I’ve used this now and then. It was recommended on this forum.

Thanks for this link.

Can I ask what input you were using on your PreAmp please using this adapter?

I only ask as I’m a little confused with their description:

**** looking at 5 pin din plug pins, from left to right or clockwise pins 1.2.3.4.5.***
**** Pin 1 Hot to Left hot on rca socket***
**** Pin 2 Hot to Right hot on rca socket***
**** Pin 3 common earth cold left and right on rca cans***
**** Pin 4 not connected***
**** Pin 5 not connected***

The “left to right or clockwise” statement is contradictory ?!?

Edit: not contradictory if you look at the pins and they’re all at the top

I’m using the second input. Check it out at analogue seduction. The reviews also show many naim users using it :+1:
