Sounds expensive!

As we have just ordered the greenhouse (some will be aware of the forum joke on this ) the second 555ps isn’t getting added to my ND555 any time soon :man_shrugging:

Sounds like balance must be restored soon

The greenhouse is but one step on the road to achieve balance - I think about six greenhouses would be needed to manage that :joy:

The bass is tuned down to 40hz…all drivers are made in house…I am not keen on the stands…so will use my existing PMC ones…

Yeah don’t mind… it…I felt the same but if you really really think about it there is a very good reason for the shape… I think Vivid have suffered a bit due to the perception of wackyness… but thought through carefully it is all logical stuff…rear wave absorbtion, diffraction, time alignment, stiffness… etc etc…the proof will be in the pudding…I will be testing them in about a months time… My Kans are also coming on line shortly…l made an error with rebating which meant two steps back…but I have dusted myself off and have made good the wrong rebates…so shortly they may be up and running…

The S12’s against a pepped up version of the Kan … + PMC 20.21 is an interesting comparison…

As long as you can avoid the Giya!

Yeah looks wacky…but there is solid logic behind it the coiled tapered attenuation tube, attenuation to mid and treble units, defraction, the tubby shape is very strong and non resonant, bass drivers mounted opposite each other…it goes on and on… so its well considered and thought out…but on another level not the most aesthetic conventionally. The other Kaya range of speakers are far nicer in proportion…

Yeah, sure you can see the thinking, but some things are just too much
