3 pin Din cable

Recently I picked up a full Naim system from my dealer. A Nac 202, NAPSC, Nap 200, HiCap and a N stageline. Also in the boxes was all cables needed to connect the system and several extras. In one of the boxes I found a very nice Chord Company Chorus Reference cable with 3 pin din on each side. Anyone have an idea what this is used for ? I have only seen 4 or 5 pin cables in the past.

It sounds like an interconnect cable to connect a Naim source to the 202. On some cables Chord sold, they removed the unused pins in the DIN5 plugs as only 3 pins are wired, to provide a bit more decoupling between plug and socket.

Ok that makes sense. So I could use this from my Ndac to the 202 instead of my standard din cable?

Yep. It should be wired as an input cable.

Thanks you sir. I will give this a go.
