32.5/HC and Superline?

Hi all,

Will a CB 32.5 with CB HiCap be able to power a Superline? If so, will it power the Superline similarly to adding an HC independently to the Superline? I may be completely misunderstanding how these are set up.

Is the Superline overkill for a 32.5/HC/160?

I personally don’t think a Superline is overkill for a 32.5/HC but I do not believe it can be powered from that combination alone. It’s been a while since I had a CB system (42.5/HC/140) so I don’t know for sure, but I suspect you might need another HC for the Superline.

The 32.5 has no powered input to power the Superline directly so you’ll need a separate PSU (Hicap or Supercap) for the Superline.

A DIN4-5 interconnect cable connects the PSU powering the Superline to a spare DIN5 input socket on the 32.5.
