I’ am going to have some boxes left over after my recent learning curves and about to settle on the final systems.
For those of those who have had both, a question. I will be keeping the CB hicap and 250 which currently has a 32.5 pre. I will have an olive 82 ‘surplus’. Should I keep the 82 for SQ over the 32.5, even at the expense of the look?
Everyone will have their own opinion, and it’s only yours that matters.
But the 32/Hicap/250 was the the foundation of Naims success and arguably the best amp in the world in its day.
As with a classic car, stay with the authentic kit. Visually it will always look better and you’ll own a legendary set up.
