hiya, quick crazy check…should the volume control be silent when operated remotely? Its not a hiss or crackle when the dial rotates just a consistent mechanical sound that i didn’t expect from a grand’s worth of new amp?
I suspect this is the sound of the servo motor rotating the volume control.
It’s also worth checking whether the knob rotates smoothly when operated by hand. Sometimes the knob gets pushed in during shipping, fouls slightly on the casework and needs a gentle pull outwards.
