Accurate rip scores

So for my birthday (yesterday) my good lady bought me a bunch of CDs.

I spent yesterday evening ripping these with dBpoweramp (aided by a bottle of Laphroaig) and am currently finishing the job this evening with a nice Shiraz.

It’s occurred to me, not for the first time, that the ‘rip status’ e.g. ‘Accurate (170)’ is a reflection of the popularity of an album amongst those using dBpoweramp - with a higher number in parentheses denoting a more popular album.

‘Hotel California’ and ‘Rumours’ have (for me) scores of 170 a-piece. It’s some years since I ripped ‘Dark Side of the Moon’, but that must be a high scorer.

I’m interested to hear your thoughts on this - and what albums have you found with the highest scores?

They only go up to 200 no matter how many rips have been submitted.

Assuming when you say a bottle of Laphroaig you don’t mean that literally! :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks for the info - every day’s a school day!
