Would appreciate feedback on advantages if any between original Roon Nucleus that I own and greatly value and new Roon Titan?
I went from Nucleus Plus RevA to Titan.
The Titan runs cooler, is much faster and more responsive, the internal chassis runs MUCH cooler (better for RAM, M.2, & SSD), its internal EMC profile is much better and it’s all the above that I think explains the obvious increase in SQ that I got.
I took advantage of the very generous initial trade-in offer so out of pocket after several years of use on the original was minimal outlay.
I find it aesthetically to be very pleasing (I went with stone insert on top) and obtaining an equally pleasing, passively cooled case + an equivalent NUC would have cost significantly more than what I spent. Multiples more.
