Moved from gas to IH 5 years ago and after swearing for 20 years that gas was better for cooking, I have to say, there’s no going back.

Neither had any noticable effect on SQ. Not sure how you’d tell anyway. The extractor hood on any stove (gas or electric) makes far more noise than any impact on SQ of any component. Then add the sounds of frying etc.

It’s a bit like asking whether a petrol or electric chainsaw is worse for SQ… I mean apart from the sound of the bloody chainsaw that is!
