Don’t know quite why but that has quite surprised me.
You don’t have to agree with the opinions/views but I always find it sad when some of them pass on.

Possibly a vascular event, only briefly scanned a breaking news article. It would probably be all conjecture at this stage.
I guess what I meant was, keeping politics out of it, there are some larger than life characters in the public eye and agree or disagree with them they make things more interesting.
He’s little more than a decade older than me which is thought provoking in itself as are all the posts about rock stars who’ve perhaps gone before their time.

A former colleague knew him when they were both undergraduates. Apparently he was a stereotypical 70s shouty hard-left rabble rouser. He clearly mellowed (at least outwardly) with age!
