All playlists have most or all tracks missing

Richard and guys from Naim, I hope I’m not one to rant unduly but I first raised this on 8 June and got an email back from Technical Support saying action in hand. Since then I think there’s been 2 or 3 upgrades to the App but the problem has deepened in that whereas it just used to shuffle tracks as others have acknowledged they disappear altogether. Surely it’s fixable?

Sorry Lindsay, obviously I can’t really comment as I know little about it apart from that some here have been experiencing issues. I’ll see if I can get any info from Naim.

Thanks Richard.

Hi Richard has there been a response from Naim to you regarding this issue?

Should they wish to know my playlists remain non functional. Not sure if the others are still in the same boat.

I rang someone at the factory on Thursday who said they would do some investigating and then let me know. Obviously it’s now the weekend, so I don’t expect to hear anything until next week.

Good man, many thanks Richard. Have a good weekend :+1:

Hi - just jumping onto this thread. I have a Uniti Star. My playlists are missing from my iPhone app, but still visible on my iPad?? How can this be? Where are the playlists stored - on the Uniti star or the device the app is running on? Seems like it is the Uniti Star, as the iPad is showing all tracks in all playlists but the iPhone is not. This seems strange. Any ideas anyone?

Guessing but the app on your iPad is probably an earlier version.

Ok - thanks. So you are guessing it is an app issue. I’ll check when I get a chance. I guess we will need to wait for an update to get this issue sorted?

I have the same problem with my NDS and Core but interesting the playlist work on my Android phone through the Naim app. The problem is only on my IPad.

I’ve heard back and it appears to be an issue with the iOS app. Naim are working on a fix.

Thanks for the update ironically the only other problem I have had with my Core in eight years of ownership was with an android device switching to a IPad cured it?

Hi Richard, I updated to the latest version 8.2.1 and my playlists are now present and correct. Looks like Naim have resolved the issue. Pass on my thanks and also I appreciate your involvement in getting us to a prompt resolution.

I have just updated to 3.13 and playlists are still (largely) missing I am afraid.

But did you update the phone app too?

Successfully updated to app version 8.2.1 on my iPad and all playlists are working.

Many thanks

Thank you, Blackbird. Stupidly I didn’t think of that.

All seems to be good now !

Yes - same for me. Christopher Hudson at my local contact at western really helped to keep me in the loop on this issue. A very quick turn around - thanks Naim!
