It’s excellent people are thinking in more environmentally ways, though it would be a shame if there were any downsides from an audiophile perspective.

According to an article on the What Hi-fi website the first such commercial release will be Michael Stripe’s solo single Future If Future.
so will it last as long? Can still be buying 50 yr old records in the future or will this new plastic degrade over time?
