Any Auralic forum members here?

I only ask as the forum seems to be down. I’m wondering if it’s just an IT glitch or have they gone and done a Linn on it?

Literally about to post the same. I notice the social media links at the bottom of the Auralic web page don’t work either.

There have been murmurings about the biz for a little while now I believe, spesh after the high profile leaver…

Not working through Lightning DS app either…

Forum disappeared but the Auralic US site is still up. Ask on there via email perhaps?

Really disappointed if it has been ended - it coincided with me installing iOS 26 which I thought had caused the failure of the link but it seems not. We all know of the issues in USA and China (parts) so let’s hope this is not the start of the end of Auralic.

Server can’t be found message for me as well.

I’ve kept this thread on here to assist some members, but in order to comply with the rules please would members here not refer to members or threads/discussion on other forums. Thanks.

Hi Paul,

I did just that this morning but haven’t received a response yet, strangely I never got usual prompt for serial number so something has changed (although email didn’t bounced back as undeliverable).

Seemed to go down early evening yesterday for me.

If Richard Dane could bear with us while we try and work out what has happened I’m sure he’ll have our thanks.

A bit like an asylum seeker - that is how I feel and thanks to the moderator to accept this thread. I say hello to everybody reading this that I know from the forum that has vanished (forever?) Regards, Andreas

Si, can you ask @Richard.Dane to give me your email address and we can discuss this away from here.

Simon could you get Doug on the case !

I’d be perfectly happy for Richard Dane to forward my email to you Paul, it is the one used to sign up for this forum.

I’m new to Naim forum although as you know I’ve had 202/200/Napsc and CDX2 since 2008 (which are still going great although I did upgrade to 200DR a couple of years ago)…so not sure if there is a PM feature or not (can’t find it at moment anyway).

I have Richard Bates contact details so I’ll try and see if I can contact him in hope he can share reason for forum outage.

The PM feature here is not activated, other than that it’s the same software Auralic used.

I hope Doug isn’t too discommoded?

You could introduce him here

@Richard.Dane
Richard could you forward my email to Simon please.
Thanks

I’ve “introduced” Doug as suggested John…as you no doubt are aware not much can ruffle his demeanour…unless it’s food related, but recent events has him mildly concerned (he can still chill though).

Getting back on topic and like I mentioned to Paul I’ll try and contact RB sometime tomorrow to see if he can shed some light on what is happening.

Hi Simon, if reasonable, could you please share what you and Bruss will have found out about the forum outage? Regards, Andreas/Andi1 in „our“ forum.

I read elsewhere that Auralic is no more selling to US, due to import taxes.
Some customers have tried to join Auralic support, no response since 4 months.

Auralic have stopped manufacturing in the USA. Management changes have taken place. What this means for supply from China no one seems to know. I am in touch with the French distributor who tells me he is awaiting delivery of stock and will let me know what is happening with support. I will report back on here if I hear anything.

From looking at other forums things are not looking positive.

I know Richard doesn’t want direct links or discussions of topics on other fora so hopefully me saying that a well known US forum owner has heard strong rumours that Auralic have closed their doors doesn’t break any rules.

I presume we’ll know soon enough.

Joined Naim forum after a search yesterday found your question. Hopefully they can contract back to China and remain supplying the rest of the world, however being unable to build & sell in the USA market is a big blow for any company who had set up to do so.
