Aria Piccolo

I have an Aria Piccolo on which I have my music library. This machine can only be controlled via the app.
Aria seem to have disappeared and the app does not work. The piccolo is detected by my unity atom and plays music from it no problem. My worry is that if the piccolo fails I lose the library.
Anyone got any ideas on how I can transfer my library to my Unity Core, or to a portable drive ?
I am new to the forum and Naim so apologies if my question is=
a) stupid
b) has already been answered elsewhere in the community.

Hi, you’ll need to read the manual and figure out how to do a backup to another drive.

The app doesn’t work?
Take the unit apart, remove the hard drive, attach it to a computer and figure out if you can access the data. Using a Linux OS might make this easier.

When you have your files backed up, come back here and someone can guide you how to get that into the core.

The first stage would probably be getting your files in order; flac format will be best.

Can you see the folder that stores your music files on the Aria using a computer? If so, you can copy it to the downloads folder on your Core, which will then be able to serve the music to your streamer along with other music. (This assumes that the music is stored in a compatible format.)

Alternatively, save the files to any other drive you wish to use for storage, but as you have the Core, presumably you would want to use that.

Hi, thank you so much for your help.
Taking the drives out may be worth a try. I even considered removing the Piccolo drive and directly inserting it into the internal caddy on the core. I am assuming the files are compatible as my atom can play them…
Thanks once again.
