Yes, I realize I went off-topic here… My problem is not with Asset (in which all of my albums have the year field populated in their metadata). I was expressing a wish for the Naim app to be able to do something that it can’t (as far as I know), which is to SHOW me the year… either when browsing the list of albums for a particular artist or when selecting a specific album (as in the screen shots below). The only way to do this, as others have mentioned, is to include the year in the album title field (which is not something I want to do).

OKJ, now it’s clear. As you said, you cannot achieve it using the naim app. You can include the year in the album title field using mp3 tag.

I asked to asset upnp forum and thay suggested me to use the ‘ALBUM BY RELEASE’ container in the browse tree and it works:
