How, if at all, can I link ATC SMA50 to a Nova?
Do you mean the ATC SCM50A?
You can use one of the pre-outs, either on RCA Phono or, better, DIN4 and some suitable low capacitance interconnects.
I can confirm it works well. I used my XLR cables with Neutric Phono to XLR couplers, RS sell them. Beware of the Amazon ones, they are a bit cheap and nasty.
Since you won’t be able to use balanced cables (the preferred connection method) you’d need to make sure they’re wired correctly. There’s a wiring diagram in the manual for the speakers, which can be found online.
I do wonder about fronting the extremely revealing ATCs with part of a Nova. Wouldn’t a more obvious front end be a NC222 or even Atom HE, both incidentally with balanced outputs?
