So I’ve got a Uniti Nova matched with some Ovator S-400’s which to my ears sounds great… but I’m yearning for some visuals to accompany the sound.
There’s some cheap and cheerful audio spectrum analysers, that use their own microphones (I don’t want to physically connect anything to the Nova for fear of interference) but they look a bit tacky tbh.
Any ideas please?

Just get a MiniDSP UMIK-1 measurement microphone and the REW (free) software. Will cost you about $100 or so.
As @JosquinDesPrez suggested if you want for real purpose (and the recommended measuring mic can be found secondhand for less).
Otherwise if primarily decorative, how about an app on your tablet or smartphone? There arenumerous to choose from, some free others not, some more decorative than others. One free one available for iPad that has customisable visuals is called Mic Spectrum Analyzer
