The interviewer is John Pearce - who seems to have had a wonderful life - just one of the many things he did would have been enough for most people but he did pretty much everything.

I knew Steve Winwood quite well, having acted for him in recovering money nicked from him by a financial adviser - a very rock n’ roll thing to have happen to you!

A lovely, gentle man. I never dared bring myself to ask him about playing with Jimi on ‘Electric Ladyland’.
