I thought I recognised the name. I saw her when she was with The Guest Stars. They opened for Jan Garbarek at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in the early 90s. Two great albums, worth tracking down if you like Latin-tinged fusion-y jazz/pop.

That’s damning with faint praise

Kevster,
Thanks for posting the Can video - terrific stuff!
There were times, many years ago, when I thought that my chum and I were the only two people, outside Germany, who had heard of Can. Then, as now, they were thrillingly crazy and the book “All Gates Open - The Story of Can”, co-authored by Irmin Schmidt, tells all.
From a hi-fi perspective, particularly if the volume is set to “realistic” levels, “Mushroom Cloud” on “Tago Mago” is always a somewhat nervous listen - you know why!
Keep 'em coming!

Mongolian Metal. Their first album is a banger too.

This is for all middle aged audiophiles; start nodding…

Long, but definitely watching if you’re a Sylvian/Can/Japan etc fan…

I love me a bit of Pachebel’s Canon in D
I’ve heard this version in the background to a few Christmas things - ads etc
But I never knew who it was.
A lot late to the party but I give you the ‘whiplash song’…
