Background Docs

I recently moved all my Naim gear to a new State. Unfortunately, I lost all of my original manuals and, to make things worst, my original ‘drawings’ of the set-up I used for 6 years. Embarassingly, when I went to set it up in my new home, I totally forgot how I had it wired, i.e. Atom, Core, network, etc. How embarrassing.
Anyway, is there a way I can access the correct wiring diagrams online?

Many, many, many thanks!

Scroll down and type in the product name you are looking for.

Also there are many online portals that have Naim manuals available free.

What is it you need to know about wiring? Your two boxes just need mains leads, Ethernet cables (or WiFi for the Atom) and speaker cables.

Chris,

Yes, thank you. My specific question has to do with the 4 ethernet leads/connections in the switch and where they go to -specifically, on the backs of the Atom and Core. Like an idiot, I put ‘stickies’ on the switch as to their destinations, but of course, they fell off in the move. .

All ports on your switch will be fine connecting to your Atom and Core. There might be one port located for “in” coming from your router but the rest doesn’t matter.

The Atom and Core each have only one Ethernet port, so there are no choices to make. On a switch you can use any port for any device, it makes no difference. (There are some switches which you can log into and configure in many different ways, but I assume you haven’t done this, so don’t worry about it.)
