BBC stopped working on Muso and QB today

As titled, BBC radio (tried a few stations) has stopped working on my Muso and QBs. Classic FM also down. FIP, KCRW, Paradise all working. Additionally the iOS app seems unusually buggy, having trouble navigating the radio sections and freezing.

Anyone else?

Having the very same problem with my QB gen 1. Was listening to 6 Music then streamed some music went back to the radio, nothing. Did a reset, restarted the router still nothing. Tried Naim radio and that worked and eventually got 6 music back on. All seems good with my Atom, that’s had the radio playing all day.

Radio station logos have also disappeared in the app from my presets. They appear for the Atom but not my QB or Muso???

Yes, I have also been having BBC problems with MusoQB1 and Muso2 today.

I’ve read on another forum that the Beeb have changed the URLs, again!

And it does indeed seem to be the case, as my RPi/MoOde streamer does not play the Beeb stations

Yep. No BBC here either. How annoying.

Nor here, on 1st gen Muso.

(So, Radio Paradise it is.)

Yes, the NDX2 is working fine but no BBC on the Muso QB1. Very strange.

Yes, I can confirm it’s not only regarding BBC radio stations, but Jazz FM, Delite Radio and probably some more at the moment.

I am just wondering if @Stevesky is aware of this?

Hi all,

We’re imvestigatng the issue here. It seems the XPeri servers in the USA are not working properly and it’s causing havoc. We’re going to temporarily disconnect them from our radio system until they have put all their 1’s and 0’s back in the right sequence.

Apologies for this - out of our control as a third party system has failed. Will let you know once we’ve disconnected xperi.

When I went out this morning, I was listening to R4 on the 333. When I got back mid-afternoon, I tried to switch to R6, but the 333 wouldn’t change channels. Tried changing to a few, rebooted once, still didn’t want to change channels, rebooted again, and it was fine, but did change to Radio Paradise first. Also, the R6 preset did not show on the 333 screen or in the app, so I found it from the BBC section on the app. Once R6 was playing, the app and screen showed it again. As I am in the UK, I don’t expect it to be connected, but it did happen on the same day.

Xperi extended meta has now been crippled from the system and things are back to normal.

Status is on the main radio feedback channel here:

Thanks for the update, just tried BBC 6 on Muso and QB and both seem OK :+1:

Everything now seems to be working here.

Thanks, we appreciate you and the team working late on a Friday evening to keep the service running.
