Very different
Excellent, they really rock .thanks for posting.
Two by Marianne Faithfull
Working Class Hero from Blazing Away album
The Ballad of Lucy Jordan from Broken English album
Strange KInd Of Women - âPerfect Strangersâ
French Deep Purple Tribute Band
Maybe not the best cover of any songâŚ
But Johnny Winterâs version of Jumpinâ Jack Flash is pretty good.
Johnny Winter - Jumpinâ Jack Flash
I think the version on his Live albumâs better, albeit a minute shorter with less jamming time than in the above you tube video.
Definitely not the best sound quality, but I really like âDo I Wanna Knowâ by Arctic Monkeys - Christina Grimmie. So sad this lovely soul is no longer with us.
Kate Davis - All about that (upright) bass.
Another one about the bass:
Nice to see a young Phil Jupitus doing his thingâŚ
Radioheadâs âweird fishesâ covered by Leanne La Havas is definitely worth a listen (as is the whole album)
K D Lang - Hallelujah
From Hymns Of 49th Parallel . When I was recovering from a near fatal disease (many years ago) this was one of my favourite albums . The entire album are covers of Canadian artists
Jimi Hendrix
All Along the Watchtower
Bod Dylan
All Along the Watchtower (Original Version)
I lover both versions, but rate Jimiâs as the best cover of any song ever.
Edward
Best cover of a song - if you can call that, itâs also a reply - is the Sid Vicious version of My way
Jericho is an amazing cover. KDâs voice is unique. Hope your health is a lot better these days!
Andy
I like Creedence Clear water Revival â Heard it through the grapevine â
Regards,
Martin
Mathews Southern Comfort version of Woodstock is one of mine!
Much better thanks, I havenât visited McDonalds in sixteen yearsâŚ
I must play this album again, there are some standout tracks and some very good ones.
