Maybe not the best cover of any song…

But Johnny Winter’s version of Jumpin’ Jack Flash is pretty good.

Johnny Winter - Jumpin’ Jack Flash

I think the version on his Live album’s better, albeit a minute shorter with less jamming time than in the above you tube video.

Definitely not the best sound quality, but I really like “Do I Wanna Know” by Arctic Monkeys - Christina Grimmie. So sad this lovely soul is no longer with us.

Radiohead’s ‘weird fishes’ covered by Leanne La Havas is definitely worth a listen (as is the whole album)

K D Lang - Hallelujah

From Hymns Of 49th Parallel . When I was recovering from a near fatal disease (many years ago) this was one of my favourite albums . The entire album are covers of Canadian artists

All Along the Watchtower (Original Version)

I lover both versions, but rate Jimi’s as the best cover of any song ever.

Best cover of a song - if you can call that, it’s also a reply - is the Sid Vicious version of My way

Jericho is an amazing cover. KD’s voice is unique. Hope your health is a lot better these days!
