What is the best way to Subscribe to Qobuz?

Multiple issues.
Apple sub is more expensive, doesn’t give access to the Sublime tier and doesn’t allow downloads via the Qobuz app.
Apple have a long history of charging higher subscription rates to third party services when purchased through their app store. You get absolutely nothing extra for paying a higher monthly fee - it’s pure profiteering. Go to the Qobuz website instead. There is normally a free trial period, usually a month, sometimes longer if you have purchased a Qobuz compatible streamer like yours.

It’s the same as the Studio tier but in addition gives you a significant discount (up to 60%) when purchasing downloads.

@glasnaim I have never purchased anything from Qobuz. I only use for streaming.

The only other thing I’d add is that Qobuz do this rather odd thing where they allow you to buy a gift card and gift it to yourself. Most are no different a price than the normal monthly sub but once or twice a year they offer bargains which can save a double figure amount. My last but one sub was a gift card for £80 i.e. £6 pcm.

I thought there was a court case against Apple for stuff like this. I think it was that when you had the YouTube app installed it redirected you back to the Apple subscription even when you used the Google store. I got round it by deleting the app, subscribing through Google direct and then reinstall the iOS YouTube app. Maybe the same thing is happening with Qobuz.
Just go direct to the Qobuz website . Do a free month(3 months sometimes) trial and check it out. I chose the Premium account because I download enough that it warrants the premium of £50 or so. The savings made through Premium don’t take long to swallow up the difference. If you don’t download just pay annually as it’s a bit cheaper.

I didn’t even know one could subscribe via Apple. I’ve had Qobuz since it was first available in the U.S. Now I subscribe for $130/yr, paid annually. I do not have Qobuz Sublime because I have no desire to purchase downloads.

I would go directly to Qobuz (e.g. no middle man or woman). I have Qobuz Studio, because I only occasionally buy FLAC files.

I have a yearly subscription with Qobuz since the product was introduced into the US. Great pricingand their library of music to stream suits me just fine. I was using Tidal previously and did a side by side comparison (my room, my stereo system) and I preferred the sound of Qobuz.
Best to compare if possible and then make your decision.
OT but, given the price, I have both.
