BNC Digital Output - PCM or Native?

I’m using Digital Out via BNC from the NSS333 to a DAVE DAC and am offered the option of PCM or Native when selecting that output. As I’m not listening to DSD files and the S/PDIF output from the NSS333 is limited to 192Khz anyway, why would one select ‘Native’? I’m assuming the PCM setting is the one to use?

Thanks

I briefly used my Qutest with my NDX 2 and found that PCM was the most consistent in SQ. I also limited Sample Rate in the Device Setup within Roon to 192khz to Prevent Roon from attempting to stuff 10lbs of music in a 5lb bag.

Obv well below a DAVE, but the data may be helpful to you.

Many thanks. I think your observation is spot-on. Testing it today and I had come down on the side of PCM.
