Not just the Lido Shuffle! Boz Scaggs is a brilliant jazz singer so anyone who knows his work could you give me a few pointers to his best jazz albums.

Hell, I saw the topic title and thought the worst happened to him…thank god it hasn’t.

Two more I can recommend.

My favourites are.

Fade into light and Dig.

This is a good album too, worth it for Spare a Dime alone.

Memphis is my particular favourite, plus I enjoy Out Of the Blues too

“Slow Dancer” always a favourite of mine. You can’t go wrong with anything by Boz

Very under-rated musician. He is often my go-to pick on Tidal. “Sierra” is my favourite song of his.

Two stand-out tracks for me on this album are…

Track 14 Runnin’ Blue: that’s if you want that late-night jazz club experience or track 15: Loan me a Dime for an intimate and emotional roller-coster ride!

Thanks @Geko, I’d not seen that album. Great recommendation :+1:

The dvd is also worth buying.

Wow! thanks guys I just keep finding more albums from Boz Scaggs. Just listening to Other Roads and noticed he was lead singer in the Steve Miller Band. He seems a bit of a legend outside the pop charts
Its as if he dropped the Lido Shuffle just to prove he could do commercial hits with all the rest.

The early Steve Miller Band albums are great - try Sailor.

Thanks and will do.
