Burndy

hi

is the digital burndy for the new classic 222 the same cable that was used for the 555PS to an ND 555 or CD555?

No. I needed two new burndy to connect my CD555PSDR to my NSS333.

thanks Blackbird.

I ordered the dual ended cable, and what was delivered was just an analog side burndy. hence the wondering about pin alignment on old burndies and possibility of using the old digital cable…but I have not found any info that that is possible. When you got your burndies, naim sent you two cables…so that is an option in addition to the single cable that powers both inputs on back of 333 and 222? Thanks for the help  Fred

If you wish to connect a 555PS to a 222 or 333, you need a pair of burndies:

I’ve copied this from the FAQ.

Im surprised we have not heard more about people using a cd555dr with the NC kit. Yes, there are mentions on the forum, but still a lot going for the NC psu, cosmetic reasons perhaps ? The NC psu looks like a modern xpsdr to me.

Or maybe the double burndy buggerage that puts them off.

‘buggerage’ Naim Forum word of the year!

Best combined with Burndy or Double Burndy.

I use 555PSDR with my NSS 333. I wonder if it’s possible to get the white LED on 555PSDR when doing service. Is it sold with white today?

Yes seems to be white now. That’s good. I’ll make a change next service :+1:

I think Naim has been lazy here just doing a monochrome picture…

I will give credit always when I use that weekly….buggerage…you’re going to be FAMOUS !

That IS the word of the year.

here in the US…I am going to be proud to employ that in every political conversation I have
