By pass ht supernait 3

Good morning, I have a pre anthem avm 70 connected to a naim supernait 3 that in the home cinema field only works as a power final in bypass ht. If to supernait 3 I had to add an additional power ending, would this added ending work the same in ht bypass, excluding the inner ending of supernait 3?

I would like to try and help you, but I cant understand your post, how you have written it.

Maybe english is not your first language, if so, can you re-write it using a language translator so we can understand what your asking and help you.

I think the OP means if they add a separate power amp to the SN3 will the AV bypass still work. If so, then the answer is yes as the AV bypass functions within the preamp section.

No, I would like to understand if by activating the ht bypass with the supernait 3 connected to an external power amplifier, the internal end to the supernait 3 is also bypassed and therefore the external end connected to it would work.

The question is: connecting an external end to the supernait 3, the same external end, operating bypass ht of the supernait3 from current to the speakers? So in bypass ht is bypassed both the internal pre section of the supernait and the internal final section?

If your asking if the internal power amp of the SN3 is disabled when an external power amp is connected to the SN3, then hopefully @Richard.Dane will be able to answer this, as I do not know, sorry.

Exactly that’s exactly what I wanted to know thanks

I’m not sure. I guess it might depend on how the power amp was connected - i.e via the DIN or the RCA phonos? One for @NeilS I feel

With rca From the exit of the pre ht to the entrance av of naim supernait 3 And from the exit din av to the final.

When active, the AV bypass routes the signal from the AV input socket, through a couple of relays & then to the input of the power amp. The bi-amp DIN socket is tapped off the same point (the PA input), so a connected external amp will behave in exactly the same manor as the internal power amp section.
Connecting an external power amp does not disable the internal power amp.

Neil.
