Really sorry for having to ask this question as I’m aware it’s been asked so many times before but the reason I ask is because there are conflicting diagrams out there and you guys know best .

Have I got the connections correct from the 135’s to the Hicap ?
So long as the right handed din to XLR goes to the 135 that’s powering the right speaker, it’s fine. I’m not sure what you mean by contradictory advice as there’s really only one correct way to connect.
Try using the two signal outputs next to the signal input on the Hicap. You may hear a slight improvement, or you may not.
I would avoid using the DIN4 adjacent to the DIN5 on the HICAP as it looks like yours is an earlier Olive one still with a single rail 24V on that DIN4. Keep it as you already have it.
