CableTalk cables?

Hello all, just swapped out an old 3.5m pair of NACA5 to a relatively new pair of cabletalk 3 5m. Both with naim amplifier plugs.

with my equipment nait 50 and proac d20r in a small room, i immediately heard the bass quantity reduce to a controllable manageable quantity, and the vocals were more projected forward. This helped a lot with my slightly boomy room.

Is the cabletalk cables a popular choice with naim? I got it from a long time naim user to try out. What other cables should I try next?

Dropping one of their interconnects into my humble Sony system circa 1999 was my first hifi epiphany - before Naim obviously - but never tried their speaker cable.

If I remember correctly, cable talk 3 was similar to exposure, was similar to linn k20, was similar to Naim naca4. So perfectly acceptable to use with Naim amps.

Van den Hul Clearwater has almost identical electric specs to NAC A, is much more flexible and has a luminous, lighter presentation. If rambling bass is an issue, you may try this too. Best.

Thanks for your replies guys.

After more listening, the NACA5 has a very fast and forward signature, like how the NAC82/282 sounds, where theres a wall of sound, with a lot of bass slam at the lower frequencies. The issue is it sounds kind of shrill and uncouth.

Does anyone have a specific recommendation that has both the speed and pacing of naca5, but a sweeter, more organized sound signature without so much prodigous bass at the low end?
Or would a longer 5M run of NACA5 solve this issue?

Not really and this post about the cable sound.
If only people didn’t go by how it looks.
