Can a 300 ps power 2xnap300?

Can the 300 psu be used to power two nap 300’s, one for left and one for right channels?
Would there be any advantage in doing so?

Second power supply for NAP 300?

Life could be so easy if there wasn’t always something to improve. Actually, I’m quite happy with my systhem, but… I fought bravely against the upgrade virus, and relapsed. I am thinking that as I have a 300 DR and ps at the moment and don’t wish to spend on a 500DR upgrade, would it be feasible to add a second 300DR and utilise the existing psu to power each, one burndy to channel 1 and the other to channel 2 on the second 300DR. The 552 would then connect to each 300 DR as mono amplifiers.

I wouldn’t recommend this, as your ch.1 “monoblock” would have no thermal protection at all - no fan or trips. And no logo Illumination either.

Thanks Neil. Just seeing the price of pre owned 300’s set me wondering if having a left/ right 300DR monoblock set up would offer anything.
