We stopped using the screwdriver down the slot method, as it’s difficult to control an even spread & the knob can end up rotating eccentrically.

The knobs can become loose because the slot in the pot shaft closes up, reducing the overall diameter. There should be a piece of cable tie cut to size in the slot to prevent this, but it tends to fall out if the knob is removed. Regards Neil.
